Christian Perry | Creator
Christian Perry is a multimedia artist and storyteller. He has a background in theatre and has performed Off‑Broadway and throughout the US. His work has been highlighted in The New York Times, The Boston Globe, and others. Christian is also a teaching‑artist and works closely with schools, museums, and libraries to facilitate art and literacy programs. He is inspired to create work that infuses equal parts humor and heart.
Eric Tsuchiyama | Creator
Eric is an artist and designer. He has a background in theatre and dance (where, appropriately, he has mostly portrayed non-human characters). Eric has worked extensively as a graphic designer for Broadway productions and other live events including: The Tony Awards; The Phantom of the Opera; Wicked; Disney on Broadway's The Lion King, Aladdin, and Frozen; Jersey Boys; Beetlejuice; and many others. His favorite part of the Sockz creative process is building and bringing to life the kooky collection of puppet characters.
Cricket | Studio Supervisor
Cricket is a 17-year-old Chihuahua. Before joining the Sockz team, she was the Chief Security Officer for Paradise Gardens Retirement Community. Cricket has a robust resume, having successfully intimidated hundreds of postal workers and delivery drivers. As Studio Supervisor, she oversees the day-to-day operations; most notably, Craft Services.
